My Top Picks of the Week (6/5 - 6/12)

Another week, another batch of fics to rec you! I found two good stories this week, hopefully you'll find something new to read :)

A girl with a sad past, a boy with a bright future, a chance meeting that changes their lives forever.

I found this story on a Facebook fan page and instantly fell in love. It is a re-post of the author's first story she ever wrote. It's complete, and she's almost done posting all the chapters up and man, am I excited to finish this story. Bella and Edward meet on a plane ride to Seattle and have an instant connection. Bella is headed to Forks to visit her dad for a week before she's off to Italy for an internship. Edward has just finished med school and is visiting his family in Forks, too. The pair spend some time together over the course of the week and fall in love, however, tragedy strikes and Bella flees to Italy without a word to Edward. What happens when fate brings them back together again? And how will Edward react to Bella's big secret? *cue dramatic music*

With his parole fast approaching, inmate Edward Masen is looking for a friend. College student Bella Swan stumbles across his profile on a prison pen-pal website. Their friendship is formed over written words, but will it last once he rejoins her world?

This story just started and I'm already obsessed. The chapters posted so far have been strictly letters between the two, but the author said that it will eventually become a narrative. I love the idea of this story and I also love that it features Olderward! *cheers* Go check this fic out, you'll be addicted just like I am!

The author even made pdfs of the letters with a handwritten font and everything! How cool is that? You can check those out here.

I also love her story Running for Home, if you haven't read that one you should check it out as well.

All of CaraNo's stories

Like many others, I am obsessed with this author's stories. She has interesting plots, writes well and updates frequently....every fanfic readers dream! I've read just about all of her stories and have enjoyed every bit of them. She writes a lot of Olderward, and damn does she write him well. Go check her out!
