My Summary:
First, let me give you a little more background on this story. Bella is a widow with a two-year old baby girl named Harper. The two set off to Seattle where Bella has accepted a job at the CARE Foundation, a nonprofit run by one Esme Cullen. Bella first stops off at her brother Jasper's house and is soon told by Alice that she has been set up on a blind date (No, not Edward...).

Bella concedes and meets Mike Newton at a local Dem hangout, Murphy's. Needless to say, the date is awful and Mike storms out when Bella accidentally spills her drink on him. In swoops Edward, the hot guy she'd met earlier at Starbucks. Sparks fly, yadda, yadda, yadda...they have a one night stand and Edward leaves to go back to D.C. (that's where he lives, peeps).

Bella thinks this was a one-time thing....little did she know....

My two cents:
This story had me laughing, tearing up and rushing to get to the next chapter like nobody's business. I have a tiny fixation with Edward and babies (okay...more like HUGE obsession, can ya blame me?) and the Harper/Edward bond in this fic is squeal worthy..

I rushed in the condo at ten to 7 to find a site that literally brought tears to my eyes. Edward was laying on the couch, in his dress pants and dress shirt, tie off and sleeves rolled up looking all perfection and man and fatherly. Harper was sound asleep, spread out on his stomach, his arm around her and Buddy clutched to her chest.

Harper is almost two when they first meet and pronounce Edward's name so she calls him "Bud"...how cute is that?! Can't you just picture that?! *sigh*

Of course, we're all reading the story for the Bella/Edward interaction and it definitely doesn't disappoint either...

Bella, the moment I saw you something happened. It was like my soul recognized yours. Even that night when we were first talking, I never felt uncomfortable, I felt like I had known you forever. I needed to learn the things about you, but my soul knew yours already and I think that's why I couldn't get you out of my mind.

Well, I can't tell you how grateful I am to have you and Harper in my life. You are everything to me now. I want you to know that. I love you, both of you, and I will always love you.

This story is full of mystery and suspense as well. Let's just say more than a few people have it out for ol' Bella and Edward. The pair are being followed, sabotaged, and faced with various challenges throughout. You'll be trying to guess who is behind it and the reasons for everything till the very end!
