Review: Searching for You by bellabee66
The Story: Searching For You
The Author: bellabee66
The Pairing: Bella and Edward
The Rating: M
The Status: WIP
The Summary: Edward left Bella almost a year ago. Alice sees Bella in a video that was clearly shot in the Cullen's home in Forks. OH MY! What will Edward say when he sees her playing his piano, sparkling and who's the mysterious man?
The Review: How about a twist on New Moon? Yes, it's not my favorite book of the saga either, but at least we come in after the worst part of the story. This tale opens on Edward having just returned to his family many months after leaving. Everyone is watching TV when Bella appears in a music video. That's not the surprising part though. Bella is sparkling! Edward immediately returns to Forks alone. I was hooked. I wanted answers almost as much as Edward! Bella sings? She's playing the piano? Why is she sparkling? Why is she in the Cullen house? Who is the man that looks exactly like Edward appearing then vanishing repeatedly in the video? Who is she singing to? Who is behind the camera?
This author feeds us the answers little by little, keeping us flipping those virtual pages, hungry for more. She is definitely an expert at the slow burn. I was so intrigued I read the first 22 chapters in two sittings. I am practically bouncing in my seat waiting for the next update. I would love to tell you more about the story, but that is Bella's job and she has to do it at her own pace. All I can say is that you will be shocked at the events that have taken place in Edward's absence.
This is bellabee66's first full length venture. I had previously read one of her one-shots and loved it before I knew who she was. Now I am in love with her and her writing. Please go read and support her because she deserves it. Don't forget to leave her some love. Maybe she'll get that next update to me then. *winks*
